Caring for her dress.

Our pieces are made to last — with the right care, 
they can be loved, worn, and even passed on.

Our Jardin de J collection is made from 100% cotton, 
cotton sateen, and cotton silk. Each fabric is soft, 
breathable, and gentle on little skin.

100% COTTON

Washing
— Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C, or hand wash in cool water
— Use a mild detergent
— Wash inside out to protect any embroidery or smocking detail
— Wash with similar colours

Drying
— Lay flat or hang to dry in shade
— Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading
— Do not tumble dry

Ironing
— Iron on medium heat while slightly damp
— Iron inside out, or place a cloth over embroidery before ironing

COTTON SATEEN

Washing
— Hand wash preferred in cool water with gentle detergent
— If machine washing, use delicate cycle at 30°C or below
— Do not wring — gently press out excess water

Drying
— Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight
— The sateen finish can be affected by heat — avoid tumble drying

Ironing
— Iron on low-medium heat on the reverse side
— The silky surface of sateen can mark easily — always iron inside out

COTTON SILK

Washing
— Hand wash only in cool water with a silk-safe or gentle detergent
— Do not rub or wring
— Rinse gently and press water out by rolling in a clean towel

Drying
— Lay flat to dry in shade
— Never tumble dry or hang in direct sunlight

Ironing
— Iron on the lowest setting while slightly damp
— Always iron inside out
— Avoid steam directly on the fabric

STORING

— Store clean and completely dry
— Fold gently or hang on a padded hanger
— Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct light

The care you give these pieces now means they may one day 
belong to someone else — a younger sister, a cousin, 
a child not yet born. We love that thought.
